Rhythm is my Heart, Groove is my Soul, God is my DJ… and this is the Soundtrack of my Life.

Music has always been the catalyst to my most prolific moments, organically entwining with vivid memories.  It all began with a Guns & Roses/Metallica concert when I was 13 years old.  I was just awakening to my journey of self-awareness and music put my thoughts into lyrics and expressed my feelings through notes.  When I hear the Smashing Pumpkins I remember nervously starting my sophomore year at a new high school.  Sublime drove with me everywhere in my first car while I got into a little bit of Catholic schoolgirl trouble.  Paul Simon, Cake and Wilco sang “our” song. 

And then there’s Phish… Phish accounts for six years of unadulterated music addiction!  The time I have spent worshipping the four most brilliant and fabulous geeks ever to grace the stage marks the true evolution of my musical self.  The subtle vibrations and complexity converged and my deeply satisfying love affair with the guitar, bass, keys and drums took hold.  I not only discovered the art of music, but was led to a nest filled with sparkling people sharing the glorious ride.  Every night for us is a soul shakedown party!

Nearly three hundred live shows later, I am still just as inspired to boogie in the middle of a sweaty crowd, in awe of the musicians before me - whether it’s Michael Franti, the Rolling Stones, or my gorgeous friends.

Because I treasure the gift of music so profoundly, I began putting together a yearly compilation of songs that fill my life and heart to share with those around me. Here you will find these soundtracks, given every December beginning in 2004, for your listening pleasure!
